🏔️ From roofing heights to Himalayan heights… 🏔️

Our very own Matthew Teasdale is swapping rooftops for mountains as he takes on the incredible challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp in support of the Red Sky Foundation !

We’re not sure he fully appreciated just how high it was when he signed up—but there’s no turning back now! 😂

Matthew is aiming to raise as much as possible for this fantastic North East charity, which helps fund lifesaving cardiac equipment and treatment for babies, children and adults.

He’s already made a brilliant start to training, but he still needs our help to reach the summit of his fundraising target.

If any of our customers, suppliers, friends and followers can spare a few pounds, it would mean a great deal. Donations, shares and messages of support are all hugely appreciated.

We are incredibly proud to have funded and installed this life saving defibrillator through the Red Sky Foundation.

A huge thank you to Forge and Filter for allowing us it to be installed on the outside of the cafe., where it is accessible 24 hrs a day. As our own premises are locked outside of working hours. We wanted to make sure it was available to everyone in the community whenever it’s needed.

We sincerely hope it’s never used, but if it ever is it could save someone’s life.
