Today we say not goodbye,but see you later to Helen Hancock a wonderful lady that was with us from the start of Prowood. She made every day a laugh and is massively missed.

Helen was a wonderful colleague and friend. She made a real difference to our team, and she’ll be deeply missed.

Helen Hancock has passed at home on January 15th aged 58.

Born in Sheffield, Helen moved to Chesterfield 35 years ago. She enjoyed socialising with family and friends and holidays abroad. She was a lifelong Sheffield United fan and worked at Bramall Lane as a supervisor for nearly 30 years.

Helen worked as a payroll manager at BHP in Chesterfield.

She leaves her husband Rob, son Alex aswell as her mum and brother.

Her funeral takes place on February 17th at 12:00 at St Paul’s Church, Hasland. Followed by a family service at Brimington Crematorium and a celebration of life at the CASA Hotel.

In lieu of flowers, donations will go to Ashgate Hospice.
