Commercial gas installation in Thornaby

Our client discovered a gas leak on their 3” pipework installation going through an unventilated space. Due to the location of the leak, the situation became highly dangerous and their gas supply was shut off by national grid.

Ormond purged out the gas in the existing main and rerouted the installation. Then we tested and purged the main back to gas and provided a Gas Safe certificate.

Hot tapping in Luton.
Three 1” on 2” live tappings completed on a coolant system for a back up generator, providing power for a sub station.

The tappings were used as drain points & entry for a back fill. This was so the coolant could be changed as part of a service on the back up generator.

3” on 3” live tapping on gas pipework, Westerwood Hotel Glasgow.

The purpose of this hot tapping was to create a supply to a new CHP plant.

Westerwood Hotel required zero downtime on their gas in order to keep the hot water, kitchen and ambient temperatures running smoothly.
