Property Restoration Technician (40 Hours per Week)

Rainbow Restoration Sheffield is looking for a reliable, hardworking Property Restoration Technician to join our expanding team. If you enjoy practical, hands-on work, take pride in delivering high standards, and don't mind travelling when required, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be working on residential and commercial properties, helping restore buildings following incidents such as fire, flood, leaks, and accidental damage.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
• Full UK driving licence.
• Confident driving a van.
• Willing to work away from home when required, including projects in the North East (primarily Newcastle).
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
• Experience in a trade or labouring role (building, plastering, decorating, joinery, plumbing, roofing, or general construction).
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Property maintenance or restoration experience.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to working hours and occasional overtime.
What You'll Be Doing
• Carrying out property restoration works following fire, flood, escape of water, and other insurance-related claims.
• Removing damaged materials and preparing properties for reinstatement.
• Assisting with drying, cleaning, repairs, and reinstatement works.
• Loading, unloading, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment.
• Completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Providing excellent customer service while working in occupied homes and commercial premises.
• Working both locally and away from home when required.
