Happy Sunday all 👋 , check out this recent repointing project we completed this week .

Another project completed using traditional hot lime mortar, helping preserve the character and integrity of this beautiful property.

Before repointing, all incorrect cement pointing was carefully removed, hoovered and washed down before our hotlime was applied.

Another Project Brought Back to Life! ✨

We popped back to this project we completed a few weeks ago to grab some finished pictures, and what a transformation!

From a tired old garage to a building with a whole new lease of life. Freshly repointed using traditional lime mortar, bringing out the character and charm of the original stonework.

🧱 check out one of our recent projects in Walkley Sheffield . Looking forward to seeing the scaffolding down on this one .

We’ve carefully removed the incorrect cement mortar, which can cause brick deterioration and damp issues, and replaced it with traditional lime mortar.

🌿 Lime mortar is permeable and flexible, allowing the building to breath and moisture to escape naturally, while helping protect the original brickwork.

The mortar should protect the masonry — not damage it 👌🏻.

✨ A fresh new lease of life for this patio and retaining wall! ✨

Check out this project we completed a few weeks ago what we never got round to posting .

After and before speak for themselves.

This patio was looking tired, weathered and dated, but after a thorough clean and a traditional repoint, it’s been completely transformed.

We also refreshed the small retaining wall to bring the whole area back to life, leaving it looking clean, tidy and ready to enjoy for years to come.

🏡 Victorian Restoration Brought Back to Life 🏡

This beautiful old Victorian property had suffered years of poor repairs and failing mortar, leaving the brickwork in desperate need of attention.

We carefully removed all the deteriorated and inappropriate repairs before repointing the entire property using traditional lime mortar, allowing the building to function as it was originally designed.

Check out this fresh repoint we carried out over the weekend 🧱

This tired old boundary wall had seen its fair share of repairs over the years, with many previous patch-ups failing and leaving the masonry looking worse for wear

After and before speak for themselves, prep work took a little long than anticipated due to bed joints varying from 10mm to 30mm in areas so once raked out we then went back along all the joints and scraped all the remaining excess out .

All perpendicular joints was all topped n tailed as they should be , fully washed n cleaned 🧼

🧱 Check out this lovely little repointing project we have just finished 🧱

This one required a lot of preparation due to the original bed joints varying from 8mm to 15mm in places.

Proper preparation is the key to a long-lasting repointing job – it’s not just about running a raking blade through the joints and filling them back up.

Where wider joints were present, any remaining mortar had to be carefully removed by hand to ensure the joints were fully cleared out. The perps were also top and tailed throughout to make sure every joint was properly prepared before pointing began.

Our attention to detail as a team always results to a clean, consistent finish that not only looks great but will help protect the property for years to come.
