SCUNTHORPE... THE BLACK GOLD HAS LANDED! 🖤🔥

From the initial excavation and groundwork to the drainage, fencing and block paving, we've taken you through every stage of this transformation.

Now it's time for the finishing touch... TARMAC DAY! 👀

And there's a lot more to it than simply tipping it out and rolling it flat.

✔ Hot tarmac delivered and laid
✔ Coarse binder course installed and compacted
✔ Fine wearing course applied for that smooth finish
✔ Brindle block borders carefully hand-tamped
✔ Belle compactors working the tighter areas
✔ BOMAG roller delivering consistent compaction
✔ Clean, sharp detailing around the bay window

Two courses of tarmac, properly compacted, with attention paid to every edge and corner. 👌

And just LOOK at that contrast between the fresh black tarmac and the brindle block borders. 😮‍💨

With the new palisade fencing, pink kerb edgings and drainage all in place, this Scunthorpe driveway has undergone a serious transformation.

Another one over the line, and another job we're proud to put our name to. 💪

✔ Brindle block paving detailing around the bay window
✔ Clean, curved borders taking shape
✔ ACO drainage installed to manage surface water
✔ New four-foot double-sided palisade fencing

SCUNTHORPE... WE'RE COMING FOR YOU! 👀🔥

New project, new transformation, and Josh's certainly brought the energy for Day One! 😂

We're kicking things off with a full driveway transformation, and there's plenty of work ahead of us.

Here's what's happening... 👇

✔ Existing front wall coming down
✔ New fencing to be installed
✔ Pink kerb edgings throughout
✔ Fresh tarmac driveway
✔ Brindle block paving border
✔ ACO drainage to tackle water running in from next door
✔ Drain pots raised and manhole reset to suit the new levels
✔ Potential new doorstep as the project progresses

And that drainage issue? 💦

Water's currently running straight underneath the neighbouring fence and into the garden. That's exactly the sort of problem that needs addressing BEFORE the new driveway goes down.

Proper preparation. Correct levels. Drainage sorted. Then the finishing touches. 👌

Meanwhile, Looky's already getting stuck into the groundwork while Josh gives us the grand tour. 😂💪

This one's going to be a serious transformation.

Follow along as we take you from Day One right through to the finished result! 👀

We showed you the problem. Now here's how we put it right. 👀👌
⠀
Following on from our last video, where Josh explained the issues we'd experienced with the resin borders, we're back to show you the repair process.
⠀
And this time, we're letting the work do the talking. 🔊😮‍💨
⠀
No music. No voiceover. Just pure resin ASMR.
⠀
✔ Fresh materials prepared
✔ Aggregate and resin thoroughly mixed
✔ New grey resin carefully applied
✔ Borders meticulously hand-trowelled
✔ Clean, precise edges against the brickwork
✔ Smooth finish against the metal edging
✔ Completed two-tone driveway looking sharp once again
⠀
Cut. Pour. Mix. Trowel. Finish.
⠀
We said we'd put it right, and here's the work that went into doing exactly that. 💪
⠀
Because mistakes and unexpected issues can happen in this industry. What matters is taking responsibility and making sure the customer gets the finish they deserve.
⠀
No hiding. No excuses. Just getting the job sorted properly. 👌

We've had a nightmare with this one... and we're not hiding it. 👀
⠀
Not every project goes perfectly. Sometimes things go wrong, and this time we've had an issue with the resin borders on one of our driveways.
⠀
Rather than only showing you the finished transformations, Josh wanted to show you the reality of what happens when something doesn't go to plan.
⠀
The resin was installed at the correct depth, as you can see from the broken sections Josh holds up in the video.
⠀
But regardless of why something has failed, it's our responsibility to put it right.
⠀
✔ Identify the problem
✔ Be honest with the customer
✔ Take responsibility
✔ Return to site and rectify the issue
✔ Make sure the finished result meets our standards
⠀
Any contractor who tells you they've never had an issue is probably not telling you the full story.
⠀
What matters is how you deal with it. 💪
⠀
We're not interested in disappearing when something goes wrong. We stand by our work, our customers and our reputation.
⠀
That's the Delicious way. 👌

Serious investment in your property? This is the level of detail you should be looking for. 👀👌
