Job from a while ago. Recycling faults on the dash, multiple control units on V-CAN2 network intermittently communicating when refreshing the fault codes on Davie 4 Quick Check, barely any dash board change when unplugging everything at the bulkhead.

Even though these are bad for water ingress and broken pins, something clicked and was drawn to this thing here, sure enough when unplugged, all calmed down.

If you can unplug control units easy enough to limit your options of a final diagnosis, do it, the modern systems/networks are difficult enough, even when you're breaking out the multimeters and oscilloscopes to spending hours taking notes and getting frustrated.

When working with DAF LFs that have erratic revs/poor power/boost faults or sometimes gear change issues…..a good idea is to check the boost pressure sensor.

It’s missed on so many occasions when dealing with Euro 6 trucks, the EGRs & heat do clog them, and as you can see, do break them.

Use DAF parts, you’d be surprised how many Continental/Bosch/Marelli items that get sold by aftermarket companies make the vehicle worse.
