Top tiling tip: don’t let spare, beautiful tiles go to waste...

We can almost guarantee you will have a tile or two leftover once you’re kitchen splashback or bathroom tilling is complete. Let’s style the plaster-effect look.

With the gently worn, chalky finish, plaster-effect tiles are the perfect foundation for creating that relaxed, lived-in feel which everyone is leaning into right now.

We’ve noticed a few new faces around here recently, so we thought it was the perfect time to say hello!

We’re A&R Tiles, a family-run, independent tile shop that’s been part of the local community since 1989. What started as a small cabin in Gillingham has grown into our showrooms in Shaftesbury and Wincanton, filled with hundreds of tiles for both interiors and exteriors.

Today, the business is run by husband-and-wife team Ed and Emma, who took over from Ed’s parents, Amanda and Robin, keeping it proudly in the family. Alongside our small, close-knit team, we’re here to help homeowners and trade customers alike, offering friendly advice every step of the way.

Whether you’re popping in for a quick refresh or planning something bigger, you’ll always find a warm welcome and plenty of tile inspiration!
