Our latest commission —
“the Walsh Dresser”

A modern take on the classic Welsh dresser, completely designed and handmade in our Dorset workshop by Walsh Woodworks. Every detail has been carefully crafted, from the traditional scalloped canopy and tongue-and-groove back to the solid oak timber worktop and handcrafted cabinetry below.

Finished in a farrow & ball hay no37 , this piece brings warmth and character while still feeling timeless and elegant. Built to last for generations and designed to sit beautifully within the home.

We love creating furniture that blends traditional craftsmanship with a modern feel, and this dresser is a perfect example of that.

Another bespoke transformation completed this week in Chelsea, London.

This handcrafted media wall and bookcase was designed, built and fitted entirely bespoke by Walsh Woodworks. Featuring tailored shelving, shaker style storage cupboards and integrated LED lighting throughout, this piece brings warmth, depth and atmosphere to the entire room.

The soft LED detailing highlights the cabinetry beautifully in the evening, while the clean lines and balanced proportions create a calm, refined focal point during the day.
