🚪 Restoration of barn door.

🪵 Extensive areas of rotten wood removed and rebuilt using tongue and groove to existing dimensions.

🎨Applied 2 coats of Zinsser primer/sealer.

💫Finished with 2-3 coats F&B exterior eggshell.

A beautiful restoration of a wooden porch and exterior windows completed before the winter weather really sets in!

* Removed all rotten wood.
* Installed new wooden cladding where required.
* Extensive wood filling.
* Applied 2-3 coats Zinsser Paint Bullseye primer-sealer
* Applied 2 finishing coats of Farrow & Ball exterior eggshell Blue Gray No 91

All exterior windows and French doors were also renovated with the same techniques on this lovely property.

Exterior Painting:
Working for my client - a small village Housing Trust - on the repair and maintenance across 10 homes in the village.
On this occasion, the exterior paintwork on a few of the houses required work. Brickwork was made good where required, before stabiliser was applied to exterior walls before 3-4 coats of Weathershield paint applied. Eves were finished with matt black.

Doors and windows required complete restoration; sanding, primed, undercoat and finished with stormproof eggshell paint for doors.

Windows were sanded, primed, wood filled where required, undercoated, and finished with either 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield white gloss, or Sadolin extra durable wood stain in teak.

Living room:

Complete decoration including installing wool insulation with ACTIS hybrid reflective insulation to exterior walls. Plasterboarded, re plastered, then painted.
Walls painted in Purbeck Stone.
Ceilings painted pure brilliant white.
Depth of windowsills increased to cater for new insulation.

Clients’ master bedroom:
Complete redecoration included: removing and replacing skirting, and architrave. New solid oak flooring. Installed wool insulation inbetween roof rafters to improve insulation of the room. Walls finished in Fired Earth ‘Ivory’ matt emulsion, with feature wall of designer walllaper behind bed.

Complete redecoration of client’s home office: Removed old skirting and carpet. Replaced all skirting, and also replaced carpet with beautiful solid oak flooring. Wooden window frames sanded, filled where required, prepped and repainted with white eggshell. Walls required extensive filling, sanding and preparation, before being painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Blue Maize.’
