We’re about halfway through this kitchen renovation. It might not look pretty just yet, but it’s all heading in the right direction.

With the Bank Holiday weekend coming up, plenty of people will be looking at that list of jobs they’ve been meaning to tackle…

One year on, and back to keep this cedar looking its best.

We returned to this substantial cedar garden office in Sevenoaks this week for its annual maintenance. The exterior was thoroughly prepped using before being re-oiled with , restoring the finish and helping to protect the cedar from the elements.

With timber buildings like this, good preparation and regular maintenance make all the difference, preserving the natural character of the cedar and keeping it protected for years to come.

We couldn’t leave this project at just one post.

Sometimes it’s only when you see the whole garden from above that you appreciate the transformation. Every detail was carefully considered, and we’re delighted with how it all came together.

No rush... it’s only 30°C outside 🥵

These remote-controlled blinds cover both skylights, helping to cut glare and reduce heat build-up at the touch of a button. Sometimes the simplest upgrades make the biggest difference (installed this week for one lucky client).

What happens after the storm? This.

Storm damage isn’t simply a case of replacing what’s been damaged.

Before any work begins, we carry out a detailed inspection, identify the full extent of the damage and prepare a schedule of works with associated costs. This is submitted to the appointed loss adjuster for review before reinstatement can begin.

These images show this project part way through the reinstatement process. The roof has been stripped back, damaged timbers repaired, new felt, battens and insulation installed and retiled. Internally, affected areas have been removed ready for reboarding and redecoration.

This one was a full transformation. Not a refresh. Not a quick facelift. A complete rethink of the space.

We designed this kitchen from the ground up, stripped everything back, ripped out the old, reworked the layout, and rebuilt it into something that feels completely different.

Slick black cabinetry, cleaner lines, better flow, and a space that finally works as beautifully as it looks.

One thing we chose to keep? The original archway. Because not every renovation should erase character. Sometimes the magic is in knowing what to preserve.

A full strip-out, floors made good, herringbone laid, and a bespoke contemporary kitchen fitted from start to finish, this is exactly the kind of project we love getting stuck into.
The layout was carefully planned to make the most of every inch. A dedicated breakfast cupboard that opens out at one end, a wine fridge tucked in seamlessly, and storage you’d actually use every day. We were spoilt for space on this one, and we made sure none of it went to waste.
All the bells and whistles too, we handled the lighting and plumbing throughout, so every detail was done right from the start.
