We became B Corp certified last year and thought it was about time we shared the news properly.

For us, becoming a B Corp wasn’t about changing the way we work. Responsibility, craftsmanship and long-term thinking have shaped Armourcoat for decades. What B Corp gives us is an independent framework to measure that approach, hold ourselves accountable and keep pushing ourselves to do better.

It’s an important milestone for us, and very much a continuation of the Armourcoat way.

A look inside 6 More London 🏙️

As part of a major refurbishment led by Barr Gazetas, 6 More’s main reception was reimagined to create a more welcoming and considered arrival experience, with Armourcoat Acoustic Plaster forming the seamless ceiling finish.

The entrance was brought forward and the reception doubled in size, creating a light-filled space defined by expansive glazing and a carefully considered material palette.

With extensive stone finishes across the walls and floors, acoustics were an important consideration too. Acoustic Plaster helps soften reverberation without interrupting the clean architectural language of the space.

At Brooks Macdonald’s London workspace, Armourcoat Sculptural Plaster follows the flowing geometry of the interior, creating a continuous three-dimensional surface across concave and convex walls.

Flutes and Flutes XL form the linear surface, transitioning from the standard Flutes profile into a bespoke sculptural form as the architecture changes. The result demonstrates how a seamless plaster finish can be adapted to respond to complex curved surfaces while maintaining continuity across the space.

At The Newman, acoustic comfort is considered as carefully as the visual character of the interior.

Armourcoat Acoustic Plaster has been integrated throughout the entrance lobby, bar, spa and meeting areas, helping to absorb unwanted sound while maintaining the calm, seamless character of the spaces.

Working with Lind + Almond, bespoke colours and applications were developed across flat, curved and vaulted forms, allowing acoustic performance to become an integral part of the architecture while sitting naturally within the hotel’s Art Deco-inspired interior.

Introducing the new Perlata colour palette 🎨

A refined collection of 60 colours, developed to bring greater focus to Perlata’s subtle pearlescent finish while retaining the versatility of the range.

The updated palette brings together 45 established colours from the previous collection with 15 new additions. Some familiar shades have been subtly refined and renamed, while others have simply been renumbered.

Where curves, artistry and craftsmanship come together.

For this project in Orpington, our team created a bespoke three-dimensional floral feature wall using Armourcoat Sculptural Plaster, finished in Limewash Popped Corn 002. Inspired by nature, the sculptural design follows the organic curve of the architecture, creating depth through shadow and texture.
