A complete bungalow roof transformation in Matlock

Here’s a look back at this re-roofing project, where we gave this property a full makeover from top to bottom.

The existing roof was completely replaced with Double Roman tiles in Slate Grey, alongside a full chimney stack re-point. We also installed a new roof on the side porch and a brand-new flat roof.

To complete the project, a dry verge and dry ridge system were fitted, providing a smart, low-maintenance finish designed to offer long-lasting protection.

A look back at a completed project in Ripley!

This roof replacement combines traditional character with a clean, modern finish, using Russell Lothian tiles in old English red, complemented by black soffits, fascias and guttering.

The roof was finished with a dry ridge and verge system for added durability and long-lasting protection, while the chimney stack was carefully ground out and fully re-pointed to complete the transformation.

This latest project features Russell Bute3 concrete tiles in anthracite grey, complemented by a dry valley and dry ridge system for a clean, low-maintenance finish.

We also installed an Integra solar panel system alongside the new roof, as well as five Velux windows to bring plenty of natural light into the space.

A look behind the scenes at our latest project in Bulwell!

Here’s a closer look at the transformation as the team worked through each stage of this roofing project. From the careful removal of the existing asbestos roof to preparing the structure for its new finish, every stage was carried out with care and attention to detail.

The new roof was completed using artificial slates, fixed with copper nails and copper rivets, along with brand-new guttering to finish the project off.

We’re really pleased with how our latest roofing project in Heage has turned out, combining a clean, modern finish with some great energy-efficient features.

This roof has been completed using Russell Bute3 concrete tiles in Anthracite Grey, along with a dry valley and dry ridge system for a smart, durable finish.

We also installed an Integra solar panel system and 5 Velux windows, bringing plenty of natural light into the property while helping improve its energy efficiency.

Another look at our recent project in Jacksdale

These images show some of the work taking place throughout this roofing transformation, from the structural preparation through to the finishing details.

The new roof features natural Spanish slate, complemented by interlocking clay ridge tiles, while a Code 5 lead bay window adds a traditional, durable finish. We’ve also installed new black soffits, fascias and guttering to complete the exterior.

A major part of the project involved installing an 8.5-metre steel from wall plate to wall plate, supported by three concrete pad stones. This steel has been installed to support the chimney stacks, allowing the chimney breasts to be removed and creating more usable space within the property.
