Not the most exciting part of the job, but staying up to date with the latest regulations is a big deal as a self-employed electrician.

Anyone can throw a few cables in and call it a day… but doing it properly, safely, and to current standards is what really matters.

The regs change for a reason — better safety, better installs, less chance of things going wrong down the line. And if I’m working in your home or business, that’s exactly what you want.

NCB Electrical has just commissioned a 33.12kwh battery storage installation for a customer. Using the time of use tariffs this system charges up along side the customers overnight tariff and looks after the demand through the day at a reduced rate.
Applications to northern power were approved and the system installation was carried out to meet their requirements.
