Do you have concrete tiles on a Victorian/Edwardian property ? In many case these roofs would have been originally slated. We can price re roofs using natural slates ( Spanish shown in image) or the cheaper option using fibre man made products. The end product will look good, be more in keeping with building and durable. Water ingress problem into the property, on investigation the top of stack has no flaunching. (mortar bedding that seals brickwork and deflects water ) A case of out of sight out of mind, looks like it hasnt been touched since the house was built. We will ventilate the stack, fix a slate base, flaunch the top, fit new lead step flashings & an apron and point the brickwork.
