2 YEARS OF M WELHAM ROOFING SERVICES! 🎉

Well, what a two years it’s been! 🥹

When we took the leap and started our little family business two years ago, we could never have imagined just how much love, support and encouragement we would receive.

Fast forward to today and we’re busier than ever, which is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Mark has got A LOT of years and experience under his belt 😂, and watching him pass his knowledge and skills on to Ben has been so special. Ben has definitely inherited his dad’s perfectionist streak — if it’s not right, it’s not good enough! 😂

We are so very proud of the service we offer. We put everything into every job, and we genuinely care about doing things properly and leaving our customers happy. Being trusted to look after someone’s home is something we never take for granted.

We’ve been so lucky to meet some truly wonderful people along the way, and it means so much that you trust us with your homes.

This photo popped up in my memories today and it made us laugh… so we thought we’d share it as a light-hearted Saturday post! 😄

Like father, like son… 🔨

Mark has always believed in starting Ben at a young age to be practical.

Ben was just 3 years old when Mark bought him his first proper hammer. 🫣

By 5, he’d thoughtfully removed a few bricks from our fireplace… just testing out his demolition skills! 🧱😂

He also decided to “help” Dad by fixing his motorbike while Mark was at work… by hammering a screw into the bike chain. The only problem? He forgot to mention he’d “fixed” it! 😳 Thankfully Mark wasn’t hurt, although he was later spotted pushing his newly “repaired” motorbike all the way down Motlash, all the way home! 😂

By 9, he’d graduated to using a drill and screwdriver, and here he is making… well… probably a BMX ramp if we’re being honest! 😂 He also put up a curtain rail for me….granted it fell down a week later but the offer of help was there!

Fast forward to 22, and all that practice has definitely paid off. Ben has become an invaluable part of the team, and we’d genuinely be lost without him.

We appreciate you, Ben. 🫶

Over the last 21 months, since we first made the leap and started this journey, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to be kept busy doing what we love.

Community means everything, and when we were contacted by a parent from Keadby Juniors U13s to say their sub bench had seen better days, we were more than happy to help out with a brand new one for the club ⚽️

Keadby is a community that’s especially close to Sarah’s heart, having been born and raised there, so it made this donation even more meaningful for us.

Football plays such an important part in bringing young people together, building confidence, teamwork and friendships, so it’s great to be able to give something back to a local club doing such a fantastic job for the community.

If anybody else would like to help support the club, whether that’s by donating a raffle prize or offering further support, please message me and I’ll happily forward the club’s contact details on. Every little bit really does help these kids 👏⚽️
