🔥 Another Combi Swap Completed! 🔥

Out with the old and in with the new! 👨‍🔧

We recently replaced an ageing, inefficient combi boiler with a brand new Ideal Independent C30, giving the customer a more reliable, efficient and future-proof heating system.

As part of the installation we:
✅ Removed and responsibly disposed of the old boiler.
✅ Installed a new Ideal Independent C30 combi boiler.
✅ Fitted a magnetic system filter to help protect the boiler from sludge and debris.
✅ Carried out a full system clean and treated the heating system with inhibitor.
✅ Completed all gas safety checks and flue gas analysis.
✅ Commissioned the appliance in line with the manufacturer’s instructions.

The result? A neat installation, improved efficiency, lower running costs and complete peace of mind for the customer. 💪

Another boiler brought back up to the standard it deserves. 👨‍🔧🔥

This Ideal Logic underwent one of our full strip-down services, allowing every major component to be inspected, cleaned and tested.

During our inspection we identified a couple of installation issues:

⚠️ The flue had been installed without being properly sealed where it passed through the wall.

⚠️ The flue manifold seal had been incorrectly fitted, which was removed and reinstalled correctly to ensure the integrity of the flue system.

As part of the service we also:

✅ Fully stripped the boiler down.
✅ Removed and thoroughly cleaned the main heat exchanger.
✅ Cleaned the burner and combustion chamber.
✅ Checked the ignition electrode condition and confirmed the 4 mm electrode gap was within the manufacturer’s specification.
✅ Checked the gas meter and gas pressures.
✅ Carried out a full flue gas analysis.
✅ Reassembled, tested and confirmed the boiler was operating safely and efficiently.

A proper boiler service is far more than a quick clean. It’s an opportunity to identify installation defects, ensure the appliance is safe to use and keep it running efficiently for years to come.

💳 We will also be accepting card payments only upon completion of work. We will no longer be accepting bank transfers.

🔨 Ongoing Project Update – Another Step Closer! 🚿🔥

Here’s another progress update from one of our full property renovations, where we’re carrying out the complete plumbing and heating installation from the ground up.

The first fix is now complete, and we’re continuing through the next stages with:

✅ Neatly installed heating pipework throughout the loft space
✅ Boiler installation progressing
✅ Shower tray carefully levelled and installed, ready for the enclosure and tiling
✅ Pipework insulated where required for improved efficiency
✅ Everything installed with attention to detail and future serviceability

It’s the work behind the walls, under the floors and in the loft that often goes unseen, but it’s these stages that make all the difference to the reliability and longevity of a heating system.

We’re looking forward to bringing you more updates as this project moves towards completion.

🏡 Project Update – Progress is Coming Along Nicely! 🔧🔥

A few weeks ago we shared the 1st fix stage of this full plumbing and heating installation, where we started the property completely from scratch.

Now it’s time for the 2nd fix, and the transformation is really starting to come together.

This stage includes:
✅ Boiler installation
✅ Radiators fitted
✅ Heating system taking shape
✅ Pipework completed and neatly finished
✅ Getting everything ready for final commissioning

It’s always satisfying seeing a project progress from bare walls and first fix pipework to a clean, modern heating system that’s almost ready to hand over.

There’s still a little more to do before completion, but we’re looking forward to sharing the finished result very soon.

🏡 Bungalow Extension Progress Update 🔨

Another great week of progress on this bungalow extension!

✅ The new first fix heating pipework is currently being run through the existing loft, ready to connect the new extension into the property’s heating system.

🔥 The new 40kW Ideal Vogue Max boiler is on site and will be installed soon, providing efficient heating and hot water for the entire bungalow and new extension.

Inside, the plastering is complete, radiators are fitted, and we’re making great progress as we move towards the next stage.

🔥 Full Heating System Upgrade Completed! 🔥

This property has been transformed from an outdated floor-standing boiler and one-pipe heating system into a modern, efficient central heating system.

Here’s what we carried out:

✅ Removed the old floor-standing boiler
✅ Installed a new Ideal i-mini² C30 combi boiler
✅ Converted the property from a one-pipe heating system to a modern two-pipe system throughout the house for improved circulation and performance
✅ Upgraded the gas main to 22mm copper to meet current regulations and ensure the new boiler receives the correct gas supply
✅ Installed new radiators with thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs)
✅ Complete new copper pipework with a neat, professional finish
✅ System flushed, tested and fully commissioned
