Today marks 20 years since Abey Air Conditioning Ltd was established.

What started back in 2006 has grown into the business we’re incredibly proud of today — with a fantastic team, a growing fleet and, most importantly, customers who have trusted and supported us along the way.

A huge thank you to all of our staff, customers, suppliers and everyone who has been part of the journey over the last 20 years. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

There have been plenty of challenges, changes and milestones along the way, but we’re still here, still growing and looking forward to what the next 20 years brings.

❄️ WE’RE HIRING – JUNIOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR ❄️

📍 Based out of our Scunthorpe office

As we celebrate 20 years in business, Abey Air Conditioning is looking for a Junior Office Administrator to join our established office team.

This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career who is friendly, organised, confident using a computer and ambitious to progress.

🔧 THE ROLE

Working alongside our Service Manager, Contracts Managers and wider office team, your duties will include:

• Assisting our Service Manager with general administration and planning
• Helping organise service and maintenance paperwork
• Assisting our Contracts Managers with collating information and documentation for O&M manuals
• Updating job information, spreadsheets and company systems
• Filing and maintaining electronic and paper records
• General office administration
• Answering calls and dealing with customers and engineers as your experience develops
• Supporting the wider team with the day-to-day running of the office

👤 WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Previous office experience would be useful, but attitude, personality and a willingness to learn are more important to us.

We’re looking for someone who is:

✅ Friendly and approachable
✅ Organised and reliable
✅ Confident using computers and Microsoft Office
✅ A good communicator
✅ Keen to learn and take on responsibility
✅ Ambitious and looking to progress

📈 A ROLE YOU CAN GROW INTO

This is an entry-level position, but we want the person joining us to have the opportunity to develop.

For the right person, there is genuine scope for the role to evolve, taking on more responsibility within service, contracts and other areas of the business as their knowledge and experience grows.

2026 marks 20 years of Abey Air Conditioning, and thanks to continued growth and a strong order book, we’re looking to recruit experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineers to join our team.

Over the past 20 years, we’ve built a reputation for delivering high-quality commercial air conditioning installations across the UK. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for engineers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established, successful company.

🔧 What we’re looking for

✅ F-Gas qualified (essential)
✅ Experience installing split, multi-split & VRF systems
✅ NVQ Level 2 or above preferred
✅ High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
✅ Full UK driving licence
✅ Ductwork experience would be an advantage

🚚🚚🚚Fleet expansion continues at Abey Air Conditioning!

We’ve taken delivery of another three new vans this week as we gear up for what is shaping to be a very busy summer.

The vans are currently having their internal racking fitted and will soon be heading over to Asigns for their full signwriting, before joining the fleet and getting out on the road supporting our installation, maintenance and service teams.

Continued investment in our vehicles, equipment and people allows us to maintain the high standards of service our customers have come to expect, while ensuring our engineers have everything they need to work efficiently and safely.

We’re incredibly proud to share that our Contracts Manager, Chris Store, has been selected to represent Great Britain at a Triathlon in Spain this July! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Chris has put in an incredible amount of dedication, training and hard work to reach this level, and it’s a fantastic achievement to see him competing on the international stage wearing the GB kit.

As a company we’re delighted to be supporting and sponsoring Chris, and even prouder to see the Abey Air Conditioning logo featured on his official race kit 🇬🇧
