As we celebrate Volunteer Week 2026 🎉, why not get involved and try something hands-on? We’re looking for volunteers to help design, build, and repair wooden items — from bird feeders to creative community projects using recycled materials.

We’re looking for people who are:

🌟CUSTOMER GOOD NEWS STORY! 🌟

Steven has been working with us since January, when he was referred by Whitby Job Centre Plus. He is 18 years old and had never had any kind of paid employment before. Whilst we worked with Steven on the basics - CV, preparation for interview etc - we were also building a relationship with a Whitby based employer who told us they were looking to recruit in the lead up to summer. We were able to arrange an interview for Steven, we made sure he was ready & crossed our fingers for him. 🤞

Steven started work on Bank Holiday Monday & is settling in well - we'll stay in touch over the next few months and follow his progress! 😁
