The Bath Room

Goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend… 🥲😂

And just like that, the keys to Unit G11 have officially been handed back. 🔑 S12 here we come

19 years since I first walked through these doors, and today I closed them for the last time.

The last 4 weeks have been slightly chaotic to say the least. 😂

I’ve completely ripped out and cleared the old showroom, got the new Bath Room HQ together AND somehow carried on doing my actual job in between — designing bathrooms, ordering products, dealing with installations and looking after clients.

I genuinely don’t quite know how we’ve managed it.

And I definitely didn’t do it alone.

A massive thank you to everyone who has helped me over the last few weeks. From ripping things out and shifting ridiculously heavy bathroom displays, to painting, building, clearing, moving and helping me get the new place ready. I appreciate every single one of you. 🤍

G11 has been a huge part of my working life. It’s where I learnt an awful lot about bathrooms, products and design, and eventually where I built The Bath Room into my own female-run business.

But the business has changed. The way I design has changed. And it was time for the space to change too.

So… goodbye G11. 🥲

You’ve been good to me.

Now onto the next chapter at The Bath Room HQ. (Which is only upstairs btw!!!)

And after the last four weeks, I am VERY ready to actually sit at my new desk. 😂

New HQ reveal coming next… 👀

THE DISPLAY SALE 🤍

It’s officially happening…

As part of our move to a smaller, more design-led studio, we’re saying goodbye to our current showroom displays — which means there are some seriously good buys up for grabs. 👀

From NOW, selected ex-display pieces will be available to purchase, including:

Bathroom furniture • Basins • Brassware • Mirrors • Baths • Accessories • Tiles & more

Everything has been used for display purposes only, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

A little update from The Bath Room… 🤍

A couple of weeks ago I asked you all a question:

Do we still need the traditional bathroom showroom?

And what started as a conversation on here ended up making me take a really good look at how I want my business to work going forward.

So… I’ve made a decision.

The Bath Room is downsizing.

Not the business. Not the service. Just the space.

I’ve realised I don’t need a huge showroom full of displays to design beautiful bathrooms.

What I DO need is a space where we can sit together, look through beautiful samples, compare finishes, talk through ideas and then bring YOUR bathroom to life through 3D design.

And, on a personal level, I want a business that works better for me too. One that’s more considered, more flexible and allows me to focus my time and money on the parts of the business that actually matter to my clients.

So we’re moving towards a smaller, more design-led studio — and I’m actually really excited about it.

It does mean one thing though…

Everything currently on display needs a new home. 👀

So over the next few weeks I’ll be selling off our bathroom displays, furniture, brassware, mirrors, accessories and more.

Some absolute bargains are coming.

Same Bath Room. Same service. Just a smarter way of doing it. 🤍

I need your opinion… is the traditional bathroom showroom still needed? 👀

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about how much the way we shop has changed.

Bathroom trends are moving quicker than ever, new colours, finishes and styles seem to appear every other week — and as a showroom, trying to constantly keep displays current means continually investing in changing them.

So it’s got me wondering…

Do you actually need to see a fully fitted bathroom display anymore?

Or would you be just as happy choosing from beautiful samples — tiles, brassware finishes, furniture colours, worktops etc — and then seeing exactly how YOUR bathroom will look through a realistic 3D design?

Part of me thinks the future of bathroom design might be less about showing you our bathrooms… and more about showing you yours.

But I don’t want to assume.

If you were spending money on a new bathroom, would a physical showroom display make you feel more confident buying?

Or are samples + a really good 3D visual enough?

I genuinely want your opinion — tell me below. 👇🏼

Has Brushed brass has had its moment… if so what’s next? 👀

Nickel brassware is becoming the finish we’re seeing more clients fall in love with — and it’s easy to see why.

It gives that luxury hotel feel without following the same trend everyone has already done.

Why we love nickel:

• A softer, warmer finish than chrome
• A timeless look that works with marble, stone, wood tones & textured tiles
• More subtle than brushed brass, making it easier to redesign around in years to come
• Adds depth without overpowering the room

As designers, we always ask:
“Will you still love this bathroom in 10 years?”

Nickel is one of those finishes that feels current, but doesn’t shout for attention.

Designed right, the smallest details make the biggest difference.

Visit our female-run showroom and let us help you choose finishes that actually work together — not just what’s trending online.
