Invest in yourself and the business, vans gone so no more high diesel prices for us. Can't believe we didn't do this sooner, saving money and keeping fit. Obviously our working range will have to go down but that's a small price to pay.

Lots of ups and downs this week redecorating soffits, fascias, dormers and a porch in Sandy. Fair amount of rotten wood removed and treatment required here. Thankfully for the most part the weathers been kind on this job. Timberwork was prepped with Zinsser Bullseye 123, undercoated with Albany undercoat then finished with two coats of Zinsser All coats exterior satin.

This situation is exactly why we no longer fit anything from cheap online bathroom suppliers. Ensuite we fitted for a regular repeat customer and the shower valve stops working so we tried to replace the thermostatic valve but sure enough it's discontinued and the only remaining option is a new shower valve. To make things a little more interesting the tiles are discontinued as well so our best option to not disturb the tiles was to fit the new valve from the stairwell. As a bonus the new shower kit came with a handset so seeing as we had made access that was installed at the same time.
