A recent project in Romsey:
Significant ground movement had caused the existing timber sleeper wall to fail due to inadequate drainage and poor choice of materials. We recommended to the client to seek advice from a structural engineer as the wall was over 1m in height in places.
Lots of excavation, steel rebar, concrete and blockwork later, we delivered a permanent solution to the unstable ground. We also installed a perforated land drain and backfilled with 20ml shingle wrapped in a geotextile membrane.
