**A little surprise on our usual dog walk... 🐕**

I walk along the top of **Harnham Hill every day** with the dog and I've walked straight past this without ever noticing it.

Today she suddenly became very interested in something off the path. I wondered what on earth she was doing — and went over to make sure she hadn't knocked anything over!

That's when I spotted this little hidden fairy garden.

If you're walking along the top of Harnham Hill, near the steps, keep your eyes open and see if you can find it.

Lovely to spot seven ducklings at Harnham Old Mill today. They were all hurrying along to catch up with Mum just out of shot.

It's great to see a breeding pair raising ducklings here, and hopefully they'll all make it safely through the coming weeks.

Sometimes it's not just about fitting a new toilet—it's about making sure the job is finished properly.

On this installation, the new toilet had a manufacturing fault that caused a leak from the ceramic itself. Rather than leaving the customer with a problem, I arranged for a replacement and returned on another day to install it at no extra cost.

I'm pleased the customer was happy with the finished result and took the time to leave this review:

🚽 Can you spot the problem?

This was a brand-new toilet pan that leaked as soon as it was installed.

It wasn't the flush pipe.
It wasn't the pan connector.
It wasn't the installation.

The leak turned out to be a manufacturing fault in the ceramic casting of the toilet pan.

Sometimes the least obvious fault is the right one.

The customer reported the toilet was constantly refilling. A quick diagnosis found a faulty fill valve. Once replaced, the toilet was back to working properly.
