Another interesting job.
Which started off as taking a cielling down in a very old cottage ended up taking out all the un supported cielling joists that some how were just hanging there.
The size of timbers were under size for the span which explains why it was all over the place and sagging also.
So we took them all out. We put new cielling joists in along with noggings.
Re insulated to regulations and build 2 dummy walls infront of the Cobb wall. We organised the plasterer and then it was finished with vents so the Cobb can breath and skirting boards and a small pipe boxing.
A great transformation to wot the room was like.

This is or was a disused chimney. It was taken down on the inside many years ago but they kept the top from inside the loft up.
Over the years the render has broken down.. the leads come loose and failed and started leaking inside onto the cielling. so it was decided that it should come down.
We took the brick and block work down. Patched in the roof tiled it over.
Finished off in inside also.

It’s been a struggle in the heat but we are getting there.
It’s a great hall you can hire with great well kept grounds and facilities with amazing views through the valley.

Another custom unit made. This one was made on site with shaker style doors.
This is actually hiding an angled detail from the stair cielling below that comes into the room. This also had some out of level walls which had to be scribed to.
This had nice radious cover piece on the front with shelves set at the required height for books.
This one is also being painted by the customers.

Either side were different measurements so both made to suit.

So we have been busy doing a food and beverage cabin at Chessington world of adventures in the paw patrol area for B&E. We have also done an interesting curved wall for some theming which looks great.

We have also carried out the doors within the new toilet block area and the retail shops.
We have also done some work on the ride control rooms and the rollercoaster.

Finally managed to get a break in the weather today to install these solid gates.
We re used the ironmongery so it will need to change or paint the screws but apart from that they look great.
