The MJA marketing team were a tad excited when asked if MJ Abbott would like to donate a prize to support the Kaleb Cooper Agriculture Bursary…

Kaleb launched the bursary, with the RAU, in 2023 to give those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to enter the industry a chance to follow their ambitions in agriculture. The bursary provides a student financial support alongside potential work placement opportunities within the industry.

Our passion for agriculture started in 1965, when Michael John Abbott (then working as a tractor driver for an agricultural contractor) decided to set up in business on his own, offering agricultural contracting services to local farmers. We have grown somewhat since then, recently celebrating 60 years in business.

Massive thanks to Steve Vick International for their contributions, and to Paultons Park for their fabulous family ticket…thinking ‘Richard Ham’ and Peppa Pig 😍
