We’re bringing in the heavy machinery—2-tonne digger & 500kg dumper—to excavate the back garden, set the foundations for the rendered walls & hot tub pad, and move 28 tonnes of MOT Type 1.

Week 2 is now LIVE on YouTube! 🚜🍎

This week on The Apple Tree Project — the 2-tonne digger came in and we ripped the lot out. Old surfaces gone, the old driveway broken up and grabbed away, everything cleared back to a blank canvas ready to build on.

The dig-out isn't glamorous, but get the groundworks right and everything on top lasts for years. 💪

Welcome to Episode 1 of The Apple Tree Project 🍎 — our biggest garden transformation yet, and one we can't wait to take you through from start to finish.
In this first episode we're on site for day one: stripping the whole garden back, ripping out the old decking, clearing an overgrown ivy takeover (three skips full!), and getting the digger in to start shaping what's to come. It's messy, it's hard graft, but this is where every great transformation starts — with a blank canvas.
The garden gets its name from the established apple tree we're keeping at its heart. Because the best transformations don't strip out a garden's character — they build around it.
Over the coming episodes we'll be building the lot:
🌳 A premium composite deck with bespoke tapered steps
🧱 Porcelain patio areas in warm buff and beige tones
⚫ Resin bound surfacing to tie it all together
🪵 Around 57 metres of hand-built Venetian slatted screen fencing
🔨 Rendered feature walls, block paving, a hot tub base and more
All designed in 3D, built properly, and made to last for years.

Old decking's gone, the ivy's finally cleared after years of taking over, and the mini digger's rolled in to start shifting some serious ground.

We built this whole garden pub from the ground up — pool table, fully stocked bar, darts corner, the works. Buzzing with how it's turned out.
