A morning harvesting cucumbers 🥒 and french beans has resulted in six more veg bags available at St John’s in the Fields Community Cafe today ☺️. In addition, our cucumbers and basil has made it into the delicious lunch available between 12.30 and 2pm. Cafe open from 11am to 4pm serving tea, coffee and cake.

A plentiful harvest of French beans, cucumbers 🥒 and potatoes 🥔.
Available during St John’s Community Cafe tomorrow from 11am to 4pm.
There is always our PYO option if you are unable to attend.
Our next official working party will be this Monday (17 August). We will be starting and finishing a little earlier than normal (9 - 11am).

St John’s Community Cafe is happening right now! Come along for tea, coffee, cake, companionship and a delicious freshly cooked lunch 😋.
We have just delivered some of our veg bags filled with freshly harvested cucumbers 🥒 and french beans. Please help yourselves ☺️.
Remember there is always a pick your own option: french beans, Swiss chard, cucumbers and a variety of herbs 🪴.
And tomorrow is St John’s Summer Celebration! Hope to see you there.

Having had a week away, it was a race against time for the Grow Wild team this morning to salvage our remaining peas 🫛. We did well, managing to fill six more veg bags, along with some Swiss Chard.
These can be found in the St John’s Community Pantry. Please come and help yourselves ☺️.
Although we are now seeing the last of our peas, we will very soon be harvesting our beans, potatoes 🥔 and cucumbers 🥒.
In the meantime, please come along and PYO Swiss Chard, any remaining peas and our wonderful herbs 🌿.

Grow Wild can now add peas 🫛 to our PYO selection. For peas with the fullest flavour, pick pods that have no give when lightly squeezed and have started to form wrinkles on the pod. Confused?😵‍💫 Watch our short video on picking the perfect pod ☺️
