Ongoing Alderley Edge Project – Another Week of Progress 🌿🚜
Following the completion of the two front lawns and the communal grass area, this week we’ve been focusing on transforming the steep, hilly back garden into a much larger, flatter and more usable outdoor space.
We’ve now excavated 2.5 metres back into the bank and levelled the ground, increasing the flat garden area from 120m² to 180m² – an additional 60m² of usable space!
Next week, we’ll be getting the digger back out of our toy box to excavate a further 1.5 metres into the bank, preparing the area for the installation of a retaining sleeper wall.
Meanwhile, down the side of the property, we’ve created a new sloped access connecting the front and back gardens. This replaces the original near-vertical drop with a much safer and more practical route between the two areas.
It’s great to see this project taking shape, and we’re looking forward to sharing the next stage as we continue to transform this garden.
