Another company milestone—and a personal one too! 🎉

On Monday we welcome a new starter: another engineer 👷. We now have two teams working under MBM Mechanical.

Since January we’ve grown steadily month after month 📈.
That growth first led us to take on another apprentice; now we’re adding another engineer so we can keep pace with the workload.

Upwards and onwards! 🚀

✅ Another job done and dusted in North Shields!

Just completed the installation of 14 wall mounts on a brand-new 2-pipe VRV system in modern offices.

Keeping the team cool in the heat ❄️ and warm when the colder weather finally arrives 🔥

As always — finished on time, with minimal disruption to the day-to-day running of the offices.

We look after everything from start to finish… not like those big companies that make empty promises. 💪

🚀 Huge update on our newest install!

All 20 wall mounts are up and locked in place. ✅

Now for the tricky part: installing the services over the top of every unit and getting the whole system up and running. ⚙️

Phase 1: done and dusted.
Phase 2: the hardest part — let’s get it done! 💪

On Friday, we installed two Toshiba Haori units in a stunning luxury lodge for the team at ! ✨

These are Toshiba’s premium luxury range, and they really elevate the whole finish of the lodge. 😍

Time to stay nice and cool before the next heatwave hits! ❄️🔥

🚀 Huge progress at the North Shields job! All 14 units are fully piped up and on pressure. ✅ 90% of the wiring is now complete.

Just a few more days on site and this one will be done and dusted — then straight on to the next challenge! 💪🔧

⚠️ Maintenance Find ⚠️

During a recent inspection, I spotted a live cable that was cracked and extremely close to touching the metal casing! 😱

I was literally seconds away from getting a serious belt/shock.

Always stay alert out there — these things can go wrong in an instant. Safety first, every single time! 🛠️🛡️

🚨 Emergency callout in the heatwave! ☀️🔥

Got summoned to a walk-in freezer that had tripped out on high pressure overload! ❄️

It didn’t take long to track down the culprit — a blocked condenser coil with the whole unit trapped in a scorching sun trap! 🌞🔧

Sorted it out quickly and got everything back up and running smoothly. ✅

The manager even hooked me up with a proper hydration beverage to keep me cool! 🥤😎
