Another commercial shopfront completed by HomeCoat – All Surface Spray Specialists. ✅

This new shop in Standish came to us as bare timber and has been fully prepared and spray finished, giving the frontage a clean, professional finish ready for opening.

The full process included:

• Bare timber preparation
• Filling & caulking throughout
• Full primer system
• Sanded between stages for a smooth finish
• Carefully masked to protect surrounding areas
• Professionally spray finished
• Fully de-masked and cleaned down
• Colour-matched silicone applied afterwards for the finishing touch 👌

✅ Commercial Spraying ✅

A recent cladding spray project completed in Leeds — a job that really put preparation, planning, and perseverance to the test.

From the outset, attention to detail was critical. All surrounding areas were carefully masked to ensure a clean, professional finish and to protect adjacent surfaces throughout the process.

Preparation began with a full wash-down of approximately 790m² using a 2000 PSI jet wash. This stage is key to achieving proper adhesion and ensuring the longevity of the coating system. 💦

Once prepped, we applied two full coats across the entire 790m² using Dulux Cladshield, as specified for the project. This product was chosen for its durability and performance in protecting industrial cladding. 🎨

This project was delivered by a two-man team — James (myself), alongside Kaden, our apprentice — demonstrating what can be achieved with the right work ethic, coordination, and attention to detail.

The job itself came with its fair share of challenges:

• Long working days to meet deadlines ✅

• Unpredictable weather — battling through rain to stay on schedule ✅

• Continuous activity on-site, working around busy loading bays that were in constant use throughout the day ✅

Despite these obstacles, the project was delivered to a high standard, maintaining both efficiency and quality from start to finish.

Full transformation completed in Liverpool 👌

All green MDF was professionally sprayed, with the first coat of primer applied before carrying out all caulking and filling to ensure a clean, seamless finish 🏡

We then completed a total of 3 primer coats followed by 2 top coats for a durable result. 🎨

Every piece of woodwork and paneling was carefully filled, caulked, and sanded — no shortcuts taken. 🪵

Doors were fully removed and completed properly to ensure a consistent, high-end finish throughout.
We also prepped, sanded, and painted all ceilings and walls in a clean brilliant white, bringing the whole space together beautifully. ⭐

All paints used on this job were water-based, chosen for the smooth finish they provide, quicker drying times, and minimal disruption during the process — allowing us to maintain a high standard from start to finish.
