What's behind a stone-clad wall?

Stein Wall Cladding and Veneers can be installed onto a range of substrates, including blockwork, timber frame, and modern build systems such as ICF (Insulated Concrete Formwork).

In this photo, stone veneers are being installed onto an R-Wall ICF build. The adhesive layer is still visible before the final pointing stage, offering a glimpse behind the finished look.

Every project is different, so installation methods vary depending on the build system and application.

It's always exciting to see our materials become part of landmark local projects.

Our Coastal Granite Paving in Buff has recently been installed as part of the newly completed Guildhall forecourt, helping to create a space that respects the building's heritage while enhancing its surroundings for years to come.

A fantastic project to be involved with, and great work by Symons Construction Ltd 👏

On Friday the 18th of September, Councillors joined the Guildhall Project’s contractor, Symons Construction Ltd, on the newly completed Guildhall forecourt to mark the first finished phase of this important project.

The renewed space preserves the historic character of the Guildhall while creating a more welcoming and accessible entrance, with new granite paving, improved event infrastructure, and step-free access to both the Guildhall and Concert Hall.

With the forecourt now complete, work continues inside the Concert Hall ahead of its planned reopening in spring 2027.

Have you noticed the return of crazy paving? 👀

Once associated with more Mediterranean gardens, crazy paving is finding its way into a wide range of projects, from country cottages to contemporary outdoor spaces.

We're seeing more homeowners and designers drawn to its natural character, organic shapes and ability to create a unique finish that feels full of personality.

For us, it's proof that some design choices never really go out of style!

Fowey Hall Hotel is a wonderful example of designing with both architecture and landscape in mind.

Featuring our Coastal Granite Paving in Buff, its soft, natural tones sit beautifully within the setting, proving that great garden design is as much about the materials as the planting.

Autumnal sunshine is giving us every excuse to linger outdoors a little longer!

We stopped by this project recently to capture a few photos and videos, and it’s easy to see why it’s such a special space.

Nestled in the Cornish countryside, this corner of the garden has been designed for relaxing and entertaining, complete with a hot tub, fire pit and plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.

Our Atlantic Sandstone Paving in Weathered Black pairs beautifully with the Self Binder Aggregate in Silver Grey, creating a timeless contrast that perfectly complements the home’s natural stonework.

And can we just take a moment for the greenery? We love how the planting brings the grey tones to life 🌿
