Garage Power Supply 🔌

Another tidy and practical installation completed for a customer who needed power in their garage, without the expense of a full electrical fit-out.

We installed a 25A supply using steel wire armoured (SWA) cable, clipped neatly along the customer’s chosen route and terminated into a heavy-duty metal socket.

The great thing about this setup is that it provides the power needed now, while leaving the option to expand the installation in the future with additional sockets, power and lighting as the garage develops.

Outdoor Lighting 💡

We’ve just completed this beautiful outdoor lighting project in Fowey.

We installed these sleek Collingwood Lighting Ltd black spike lights to illuminate the steps leading down to the property, creating a practical and stylish finish.

We also installed waterproof switches at both the top and bottom of the steps, making it easy to switch the lights on and off from either end.

Another outdoor lighting project completed, adding both safety and a touch of elegance to this beautiful property. ✨

⚡️🔋🚗 EV Charger Installation

Another Hypervolt charger installed for an existing client, who we’d previously installed solar PV and battery storage for.

We’ve also moved them onto a new tariff, allowing them to charge their car overnight at a much cheaper rate. We’ve also adjusted the settings on their battery storage system so it can charge during the night when electricity is cheaper.

This means the customer can buy electricity for just 8p per kWh overnight, store it in their battery and then use that cheaper electricity during the day. 🙌

Another great example of how solar, battery storage and EV charging can all work together to help reduce energy costs. ⚡️

New 3 Phase Supply Installation ⚡️

We’ve been back to one of our clients farms to install a new 3 phase supply to power new lighting and sockets with the additional power ready for a future project. We’ve install a 25mm 5core steel wired armour cable through the shed down to a new distribution board. Whilst carry out the work some new high bay LED lighting was installed with the help of the telehandler and basket.

Electrical Underfloor Heating

Our Fowey project is taking shape and we’ve been back to install the underfloor heating in four bathrooms.

We’ve supplied and installed a decoupling mat which has anti-crack protection built in which is ideal for wooden floors where slight movements could cause tiles to fracture or crack. These mats are designed with studs to securely hold heating cables, ensuring even heat distribution while protecting the tiles from thermal expansion.

All these rooms will be independently controlled with smart-stats, giving the clients the ability to control the heating in each room from an app.
