⚡️ Hypervolt EV Charger Installation ⚡️

Another Hypervolt EV charger installed, with the cable neatly cleated through to the intake cupboard where the fuseboard was located on the other side of the wall.

We also ran a Cat6 data cable for a CT clamp. The CT clamp monitors the electricity being used by the property, allowing the charger to adjust its charging rate and help prevent the electrical supply from being overloaded. 🔌🚗

⚡️ Outdoor Lighting Upgrade ⚡️

A simple change that made a big difference. ✨

We replaced the outdoor light and concealed the cable that was previously running up the wall, leaving a much cleaner and neater finish.

Sometimes it’s the small details that have the biggest impact. 💡

⚡️ Consumer Unit Upgrade & Solar iBoost+ Installation ⚡️

A recent project saw us complete a consumer unit upgrade alongside the installation of a Solar iBoost+ switch. 🔌

☀️ The Solar iBoost+ automatically diverts any excess electricity generated by your solar panels to heat your hot water tank, rather than sending it back to the grid. It’s a smart way to make better use of the energy you’re already generating, helping to reduce energy bills and improve overall efficiency. 💧

📍 A bit of TV history

This week we had the opportunity to carry out electrical work at the house used as Will’s home in The Inbetweeners.

Our work included repairs to the kitchen lighting and external lighting, ensuring everything was back up and running safely and reliably.

Last Thursday, we attended a CEF Tech Talk in Brighton to stay up to date with the latest industry amendments and developments.

One topic that generated a lot of discussion was the growing interest in plug-in solar panels. Many industry professionals expressed serious concerns regarding their safety and suitability for use on standard plug circuits.

Events like these are a great opportunity to hear different perspectives, discuss upcoming changes, and ensure we’re staying informed on the issues that matter most to our industry.

This week we installed a new 7.4kW Hypervolt Home 3 Pro charger in Space Grey, alongside a consumer unit upgrade to bring the installation up to current regulations.

Recent EV Charger Installation in Marshalswick ⚡🚗

We recently completed an EV charger installation in Marshalswick, providing the customer with a reliable and convenient home charging solution.

The project involved running a new 6mm supply cable back to the distribution board, as well as installing a data cable to enable the charger’s smart connectivity features. Care was taken throughout the installation, including evenly spacing cable cleats to achieve a neat and professional finish.

Once installed, the charger was fully tested and commissioned to ensure everything was operating safely and efficiently.
