🌿 **We're Hiring – Grounds Maintenance Operatives / Gardeners / Landscapers** 🌿

We're looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our friendly and growing team.

**Based in Essex**, our yard is within approximately:
🚗 20 minutes' drive from **Saffron Walden**
🚗 25 minutes' drive from **Bishop's Stortford**
🚗 20 minutes' drive from **Royston**

Whether you're experienced in grounds maintenance or have landscaping skills, we'd love to hear from you. We have a variety of roles available depending on your experience and abilities.

**Typical duties may include:**
• Hedge cutting
• Grass cutting
• General grounds maintenance
• Garden maintenance
• Soft landscaping
• Hard landscaping
• Tree and shrub planting
• Fencing

**We're looking for people who:**
✔ Enjoy working outdoors in all seasons
✔ Take pride in producing high-quality work
✔ Are reliable, punctual and hardworking
✔ Work well both independently and as part of a team
✔ Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred due to the location of our yard)

Previous experience using hedge cutters, mowers and other landscaping equipment would be an advantage, but we're equally keen to hear from enthusiastic individuals who are willing to learn and develop new skills.

The guys at CB Mowers are great. Very friendly, very helpful and cost competitive. They are our go to for tool repairs as they are honest and down the earth. We can't recommend them enough... thank you guys! Plus when you're need of something shiny and new they offer sensible advice, good pricing and speedy delivery.

About eight weeks ago we finished the soft landscaping of this lovely garden shortly after this beautiful new build house was completed.

These lovely clients gave us free rein when it came to planting which is an absolute treat.

Only eight weeks later this garden looks like its been there for years.

It's now complete with bee friendly herbaceous perennials, amazing pleached Photinia trees, Yew hedging, stunning tall Himalayan Birches (contrasted beautifully red stemmed Cornus) , gorgeous substantial Rhododendrons and with pride of place on the patio a huge and very mature Olive tree.

Plus the rope wire trained climbers are beginning to look like they've always been there!

Plants and More (www.plantsanndmore.co.uk) supplied almost all of the plants and we couldn't be happy then to source from them.

Plus here at GWB Horticulture Ltd we are extremely pleased to be discussing phase two!

This is a path we put in some years ago and we're privileged enough to be using similar products again. We loved making this one and some years later it still looks great (possibly on account of our maintenance team!).

The path consists of Stonemarket Timberstone Driftwood stepping stones from StoneMarket with a complementing loose in fill aggregate supplied by the lovely team at Bannold and CoreEdge path and driveway edging in a brown powder coated finish from CORE Landscape Products help finish it off beautifully.

The freshly cut to order turf adjacent was supplied by Hilbery Turf and helps set all the works off beautifully!

Lets hope for a little rain to get those lawns looking lovely again! ☔️🌦💦
