Porcelain patio smashed out last week and pointed in this morning.

With a nice solid base already there, the hard bit for us was all the angled cuts, but very happy with how it turned out.

Ivory Pavestone porcelain slabs, and Basalt Easy Joint pointing mix, and materials all supplied by Sydenhams

New brick paver driveway, front tiled steps and side path finally completed this morning in Newport.

This was a very challenging job from the start as we kept coming to a standstill once skips were full and nowhere to store materials. And Island Roads decided to make themselves relevant and stop the job before the dropped kerb went in (which actually turned out well) and I cut through the Wightfibre cable too, but we got there in the end. 🤦

Charcoal and brindle pavers, riven slabs and materials supplied by Sydenhams
The boys at Sydenhams Hire Ryde were spot on with the machine hire throughout. Reynolds and Read did the muck away and Island Skip Hire with the countless amount of skips.

Gravel grid driveway smashed out this week in sunny Carisbrooke.

After the owner removed the original stones/pebbles, we gave it a new base, grids and topped it off with 20mm shingle from Sydenhams

So in between an extension and a driveway job we're currently doing, we're also fitting in smaller jobs too, like this one we completed yesterday.

It's nice to be asked to add something a little different to regular brick pier's.
We added these little stone features to the new Drayton Cream bricks, and new gate attached.

This post will be nowhere near as popular as the last one...

We finished this gravel grid driveway and railway sleeper retaining wall last week after it finally dried out!
We started it early December but the relentless rain we had before Christmas really messed us up.

Still, happy how it turned out though.

Long Rake black basalt 20mm stones and sleepers from Sydenhams ,gravel grids from ebay, hardcore from Reynolds and Read, and the grabber lorry/muck away from Westridge.
