Septic Tanks and treatment Tanks occasionally need a clean out, or some dressing to not only make them look good, but to help in the ongoing maintenance and to protect the drainage field or Discharge point in a water course. We don't advise to this annually, but if your system has suffered a fault and has backed up - there is usually a reason for this. So a little clean out will always benefit your foul solution once it is back in operation!

We don't just install tanks and drainage. Occasionally we will undertake civil engineering and landscaping projects. This project is a year in the making. We raised the River boundary wall to enable a flatter garden for our client. The wall was raised an average of 400mm along its 40m length. We then had to introduce the soils to get the garden up to level. This was via a bridal path and took a lot of time to get the soils to site. We then seeded the soils. Sadly and extremely wet winter washed a lot of the seed away and left dips and patches in the garden due to wash out and settlement. We then re-attended in May and introduced more soils to regain a level finish, aerated the ground and re-seeded. We then encountered a severe drought which hindered the growth again. After a full year we have managed to achieve the finish both we and the client were seeking. Happy client - Happy us! Sometimes quality takes a little time and patience to achieve.

Well done to our team and too the client for the little finishing touches which give this garden a much more appreciated look to it.

Why I'd choose Clarke

For a new installation, I wouldn't simply pick the company with the highest Google/Yell score. The important distinction is between someone who empties/repairs septic tanks and a contractor who can properly design and install the entire system—tank, drainage field/soakaway, pipework, groundworks and, where applicable, permissions/discharge arrangements.

Clarke's publicly documented work specifically includes new wastewater-treatment systems and replacement of septic systems, and the detailed customer feedback is unusually positive about the whole project, not just routine servicing.

One of our recent projects in the village of Rhuddlan.

Client deals with Specialist Care for adults.

Previous Contractors made a right hash of the drainage system on the property. Property is on a Private package Treatment Plant, contractor piped all rainwater goods into system which eventually killed the Treatment Plant and killed off the soakaway.

Our client received several Quotes ranging from £125,000.00 to £160,000.00 to install a permanent solution for the property.

We suggested a Two Stage solution - Phase 1 Was remove the Rainwater from the system. Phase 2 was Overhauling the treatment tank and installing a watercourse discharge with the Permissions from NRW and from the Local council.

Once completed we saved our Client £60,000.00 from the lowest quote received.

Off Mains systems are completely different from mains systems. to get the right solution - Employ the right people.

One of our latest Projects in the Wrexham village of Bwlchgwyn.

Property is on the border of a large cemetery, and was formerly the grounds keeper accommodation.

Their original tank sadly passed away, so we were appointed to undertake its new install in a very restricted garden. Everything was done with a 2ton 360 and a 1Ton dumper. This project required patience and an element of respect to the visitors next door.

Again, the team just excelled with this, and the client is delighted with the outcome.

Recent project in the Erbistock Village. Separating two properties from One tank and giving both properties a 7PE system each, and then discharging into a shared drainage field, in an area of field down stream of the properties. Other quotes were aiming at keeping them on a shared system. When we costed our solution we were £1,000.00 Higher on the install costs, but as I explained to both property owners - Shared systems have their hidden legal costs, and they can also be mis loaded by one of the users.

Both clients very Happy with the Install, and should they look to sell their properties in the future, we have removed a little headache from the transaction.

Graf Septic Tank Install under a clients drive in Trofarth, Abergele. Really hard digging on this project which added a few days to the project. D400 access lid as Client had His and Hers Tesla's and we didn't want to gamble with the Graf Composite vehicle lids.

Due to the depth of the invert level, we really wanted to bring it backup to the existing foul line to keep costs down.

With restricted space and access, water separation requirements, this project proved a little difficult when pricing.

Once again the team dealt with all issues professionally.

Shed was winched out, 5PE Graf Tank installed, patio re-laid. Installation completed 2 days ahead of schedule. Discount given to the client for the project over all.
