Not exactly the sort of job that rolls through the doors every day… but when someone turns up with an Energica Experia electric adventure bike and says, “Can you sort this?”, it would’ve been rude not to have a go. 😄⚡🏍️

This one turned into a proper challenge.

Battery pack out.
Pack completely stripped.
All of the battery pouch cells removed and replaced.
BMS/balancing boards inspected, fault found and repaired.
Battery rebuilt and reassembled.
Then the moment of truth…

✅ Powers up
✅ Drives properly
✅ Charges properly
✅ Cell balancing working
✅ Road tested from 100% down to 43% — 58 miles covered
✅ And yes… it may have had a reasonably enthusiastic test ride. 👀😂

After replacing the pouch cells and repairing the battery electronics, seeing CELL BALANCING appear on the dash while it charged back up was a pretty satisfying sight.

Motorcycles aren’t normally our thing, but EV battery diagnostics and repair definitely are — and sometimes a good challenge is hard to turn down.

One Energica battery rebuilt, one bike back on the road, and one very expensive ornament avoided. ⚡🔧

Perseverance prevailed 🥳🥳⚡️🚙

🚗⚡ Another Challenge... Another Victory! ⚡🚗
Some jobs test your patience... this one tested everything! 😅
This 2021 Porsche Taycan arrived with a long list of high-voltage faults and wouldn't even go into READY mode.
Over the following weeks we:
🔧 Removed and inspected the high-voltage battery.
🔧 Diagnosed multiple unrelated faults.
🔧 Programmed a replacement rear inverter.
🔧 Corrected previously fitted incorrect components.
🔧 Replaced the Battery Management Controller (BMC).
🔧 Completed Porsche online programming and component protection.
🔧 Bled the cooling system to restore charging.
🔧 Carried out numerous calibrations and system checks.
There were moments when it felt like every time one fault disappeared, another one appeared to say hello! 🤦‍♂️ But that's modern EV diagnostics—it's about understanding the system, not just replacing parts.
The best part? 🎉
✅ Vehicle now goes into READY.
✅ Charges correctly.
✅ Drives perfectly.
✅ Returned to a very happy customer.
