A building changes use, and the electrics often get left until last!🔌

An old warehouse becoming offices, a retail unit turning into a gym or a café, a workshop being split into smaller units. The walls, layout and signage all get plenty of attention, but the electrical side deserves just as much thought!💡

Things worth asking early...
⚡ Does the incoming supply have the capacity for the new use?
🔧 Is the distribution set up for how the space will actually be used?
💡 Will the lighting suit the new activity?
📐 Where will power and data need to go?

A change of use can double or triple what a building asks of its electrics, and it’s far easier to find that out on paper than halfway through the fit-out!🏗️

Plot 1 is nearly there!🏡

The first home on this stunning development is nearing completion, and our team are putting the finishing touches on our work.

It’s one of 25 luxury new builds we’re delivering the electrical package for, from the initial design and CAD drawings through to feature LED lighting, power, AV, solar with battery backup, security and heating controls!💡

It’s a really rewarding point in any project, when the plans, the first fix and the second fix all come together into a finished home!👏🏼

Plot 1 is nearly done, with 24 more to go!🏗️
