⚠ BEFORE YOU SWITCH YOUR HEATING ON ⚠

‼️Follow Our Post Summer Boiler Check ‼️

As the weather starts to change we will all begin putting the heating on, here are some simple steps to follow before firing up your heating for the 1st time after the summer!

🔴Boiler Pressure : Check boiler pressure gauge - it should sit around 1.5 bar

🔴Bleed your radiators: Turn on the heating briefly, then after things cool down release trapped air using a radiator key from the bleed valves until water appears

🔴Test your valves: Twist your thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) fully open and closed to ensure they have not seized during the summer month

🔴Test the thermostat: Regardless of if you have a digital smart or manual thermostat, raise the target temperature on the thermostat to confirm the boiler immediately fires up and shuts down correctly
