If your new home has a log burner, stove or open fire, it’s important to have the chimney swept and checked before you use it, even if the previous owner says it was recently done.
It’s also worth having a cctv inspection carried out to check the chimney and flue for any issues, blockages, damage or anything that could cause a problem.

In the last week Iv had to condemn a fire which a previous sweep said it was safe to use and give some advisories out on another which again the previous Sweep didn’t pick up on. 🛑
