It's been a little quiet on here recently... not because nothing has been happening, but because we've been incredibly busy working behind the scenes! 👷‍♂️✍️

Over the past few months we've:
✅ Secured 5 Planning Approvals
📋 Got 3 projects currently progressing through Planning
📐 Progressed 4 projects to the Building Regulations stage
✏️ Got 2 new projects currently in the design stage
🏗️ Started work on 4 projects currently under construction
🎉 Seen 4 projects successfully completed on site

Here's one of those projects currently under construction...

This single-storey rear extension was designed under the Prior Approval process to completely transform the downstairs layout and create a much more open, practical and modern family living space.

The proposal includes:
• A large kitchen extension with open-plan layout
• New dining area overlooking the garden
• Dedicated utility space
• New downstairs shower room
• Large aluminium bi-fold doors to maximise natural light and strengthen the connection to the garden

We're pleased to say that the Prior Approval application was approved, the Building Regulations drawings were completed, and the project is now underway on site. It's always rewarding to see a project progress from the initial concept, through planning and technical design, and into construction.

The design keeps a simple contemporary appearance with matching brickwork, flat roof detailing and clean modern glazing to complement the existing property.

Another planning application recently prepared and submitted ✍️🏡

This project involved the design of a single-storey rear extension to create an accessible downstairs bedroom and shower room for the client, helping to make the property more practical and future-proof for their needs.

Working alongside the council’s Aids & Adaptations team, the layout was carefully designed to ensure the proposal met the required accessibility criteria while still integrating naturally with the existing property.

The scheme includes:
• A new accessible ground floor bedroom
• A spacious level-access shower room
• Wheelchair turning areas throughout
• Wider door openings and accessible layouts
• Flat roof contemporary extension design with simple clean finishes

The proposal has been designed to significantly improve day-to-day living while maintaining a modern and sympathetic appearance to the existing house.

Another exciting planning application recently prepared and submitted ✍️🏡

This project involves a substantial transformation of the existing property through a two-storey side extension alongside a part single-storey / part two-storey rear extension to create a much more practical and modern family home.

The proposals include:
• A bespoke ground floor games / cinema room 🎱🎬
• A luxury master suite with walk-in wardrobe and private ensuite
• A larger rear lounge space creating a more open and usable downstairs layout
• Enlargement of the existing upstairs box room to improve functionality and overall space

The external design combines crisp white render, stone surrounds and clean contemporary detailing to completely refresh the appearance of the property while still complementing the original dwelling.
