🏫 PRIMARY SCHOOL PROJECT – COMPLETED! 💧🔧
Another job all done and dusted! 👌
We’ve completed 87 metres of 63mm water main slip-lined inside the existing 4" cast iron main, along with renewing the water service to the caretaker’s home.
Everything has been completed, reinstated and left clean, tidy and ready for the tarmacers on Monday.
It was a really enjoyable project, and thankfully everything went exactly to plan. Even better, the work is expected to save the school around £1,500 a year in water costs 💷💧
A big thank you to Equans Facilities Management for giving JT Pierpoint Utilities Ltd the opportunity to carry out the work. We really appreciate it and hope we can work together again on plenty more projects in the future.

🚧 A BIT DIFFERENT THIS WEEK AT JT PIERPOINT UTILITIES LTD! 💧
We’re doing something a little different this week — inserting a new 63mm water main inside an existing 4" cast iron main that has suffered from previous leaks and repeated excavations.
Rather than digging the whole existing main out, we’ve inserted the new 63mm MDPE water main inside the old cast iron, with the new pipe electrofusion welded and jointed back together.
The whole job — insertion, connections, testing and putting the main back into commission — completed in just 4 days! 👌
Not bad at all for a 2-man gang! 💪
Another job completed with minimum excavation, professional workmanship and the right equipment for the job.

Just completed a lead replacement at the old army barracks in Grantham which is now a small medical buisness park but still remains an amazing building with lots of history . An 80 meter pipe renewal all done by impact mole method with minimal disruption to all the companies fed off the supply so they were able to keep open while the work was carried out . Apart from a tarmac patch and new meter chamber lids you cant tell we've been.
