Earlier this week I attended the celebration of the life of a remarkable woman Elizabeth Strangman. Her nursery Washfield nursery was a huge inspiration in the horticultural world and has left an incredible legacy with her propagation work particularly hellebores. She gifted me many plants including snowdrops over the years. And in return she accumulated many linocut prints from me!
Beautiful floral displays filled the church with the help of Great Dixter Nurseries .blower and Edward Flint with some poignant speeches. The legend that is Liz 🌱

6. Plenty of activity on the Echinop retro.
7. Dalia ‘Western Pirate’ with the fallen walnut tree.

Remember to keep supporting your plant nurseries through these tough weather times! Power to the nurseries 👊 🌱
