Why use UHP water for the selective removal of concrete:
1. Cuts accurately.
2. Creates no percussive noise or vibration.
3. Does not cause micro-cracks in the surrounding structure.

One of the most common causes of premature coating failure on steel is poor surface preparation! Today we are using non-abrasive UHP water to remove the old coating and leave the steel surface ready for the application of new corrosion protection.

UPDATE: PUMP FOUND!

Further to our post last week informing everyone that one of our pumps had been stolen I was pleased to take a call from Essex police yesterday saying that they had found it. This was a call I dd not expect and immediately mobilised the troops to go and retrieve the machine.

This incident was referred to as a ”victimless” crime which is not a view shared by the men who could not work, the customer whose job did not start, the revenues lost to the company, and the costs of recovery and repair. Maybe, it should be referred to as a “Criminaless” crime as those who perpetrated it feel no consequences.

Fortunately, there was very little damage to the machine so a couple of days in the workshop and it will be back in action next week. A big thank you to Kent Police and anyone else who helped in this recovery. – Ian

THEFT: An RGL jetting unit was stolen from the back of one of our vans last week.
We have investigated our tracking system which showed the jetting unit to be on the edge of a field. Needless to say, no equipment was found at this location, only the tracking device's sender unit.

The purpose of this post is twofold:

1. To let you know of this theft so you may bolster your security arrangements, so it does not happen to you.
2. To request that if this pump “appears” on the market or if anyone hears anything related to it please get in contact with us.
