We are recruiting!

We are looking for a talented Architect to join our team working primarily on residential projects of varying scale and complexity, along with a mix of work in other sectors. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Architect, registered with the ARB, or a capable RIBA Part III student, and be able to demonstrate strong design and technical abilities.

Working in a small practice you will need to be able to manage projects from their inception through to completion on site.

Experience of working on Vectorworks and Sketchup would be an advantage, although not essential for the right candidate.

AUBURN MERE

A full planning application has recently been submitted for the extension and redevelopment of this care home on the outskirts of Watford, Hertfordshire.

The proposals include a combination of three-storey, single-storey and dormer extensions to the existing building, alongside a comprehensive internal reconfiguration. This will create additional bedrooms, enhanced recreational spaces and improved administrative facilities.

The scheme also repositions the main entrance and driveway, enabling the creation of new secure gardens that provide a safe, accessible and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors alike.

The finishing touches are currently being applied to this project in Romsey.

Through the partial conversion of the integral garage, the removal of several internal walls, and a complete reconfiguration of the layout, we have transformed the property into a versatile home that makes the most of the available space.

A newly positioned entrance has been created, the principal living areas have been opened up and combined, and a new study, utility room, and master bedroom suite have been introduced. The project also includes a full roof replacement, new windows and doors throughout, and comprehensive upgrades to the electrics, plumbing, and heating systems. Externally, a new block-paved driveway will complete this extensive renovation.

Works are well underway in Warsash!

The old conservatory is gone — and in its place, a single-storey rear extension that wraps around the detached garage, creating a seamless route straight into the garden.

Inside, we’re extending and fully reconfiguring the layout to add a third bedroom, a new master suite, and a bright open-plan kitchen/dining/living space.

The entire home is getting a top-to-bottom refresh: new flooring, skimmed walls and ceilings, updated electrics, new heating, and a full repaint.

Once the bifolds and new windows are in, the extension will be watertight — ready for roof tiles in the New Year!

Site progress update for one half of these new build semi-detached properties.

As the building shell comes together, we have been able to make some minor alterations to the internal layout; providing a more useable and versatile arrangement when compared to the original dwelling.

We hope to see the structure watertight over the coming weeks.

This two-storey Arts and Crafts-style home, dating back to the early 20th century, has undergone numerous changes over the years — including the addition of a flat-roof extension, modifications to window and door openings, and the installation of some vibrant 1970s bathroom suites.
