Despite the hot weather our team have still be out training for the 3 Peaks challenge next month.

It’s all in support of .home. Sam joined Cinergi as an apprentice and quickly became a hugely valued part of the team. We’re raising money to help fund adaptations that are needed to bring Sam home from a specialist hospital after a traumatic brain injury.

Congratulations to Adam, Charlie and Hannah!

They’ve recently completed their BPEC Ventilation qualification. It's a great achievement and a reflection of the technical expertise within the Cinergi team.

All this glorious sunshine often means you can be generating more solar energy that you can use, so what happens to it?

We set solar systems up with a hierarchy or rules that are built to suit how you personally use energy. First, solar energy goes directly to any electricity demand in your home in real time.

Then its usually most cost effective to charge your battery to save your energy for after dark.

Once your battery is full, you can sell your energy back to the grid.

As of today, 21st July, the governments Boiler Upgrade Scheme has increased the grant to £9,000, for homes switching from oil or LPG.
