The hedge is a mixed species hedge, consisting of Conifer, Laurel and Elaeagnus....oh, and lots of brambles (😒).
I've trimmed the hedge for the last few years (must be why it looks sooo nice in the photos ), but, unfortunately, a survey of cracking in the walls of a neighbouring property has found that the hedge is the likely culprit causing subsidence. So we removed the hedge...

Removing deadwood on a large Oak earlier this week. Not a lot to see in the photos (no offence to Luke, who took them 😁). I'm just below the red dot in each of the photos. Working over a road, especially when people don't obey the speed limit, is a pain, as always. Anyway, all went OK and no cars or pedestrians were harmed....obviously 😬👍
