A little update from me…
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on this page, and I know quite a few of you still follow it from the days of JB Sims Garden Care.
A lot has changed since then.
After closing the business, I decided to put the tools down and move into the management side of the industry. On paper it probably looked like the natural next step — more responsibility, management, meetings, paperwork and a lot less time actually doing the job.
But if I’m being truthful, I’ve realised it just isn’t where I’m happiest.
So I’ve made another fairly big decision.
I’m going to have a proper go at making a career out of something I’ve been passionate about for most of my life.
Boxing. 🥊
A lot of my old customers knew me for gardens, landscaping and running around trying to keep everybody happy 😂, but boxing has always been a huge part of my life.
I’ve boxed myself, coached for years, helped develop a National Champion, worked pads with professional fighters, coached an unlicensed Cruiserweight Champion and currently coach within amateur boxing.
So I’m now offering private boxing coaching in Gillingham, Ashford and surrounding areas, and I’m also happy to travel to people’s homes within roughly 30 minutes of Gillingham if you’ve got a garage, home gym, garden or suitable space.
And it genuinely is for everybody.

I’m effectively starting again and trying to build something around something I genuinely love doing.
A lot of you supported my little business for years, recommended me to friends and family and helped JB Sims grow through word of mouth.
I’m asking for that favour one more time.
You don’t have to book a boxing session. 😂
But if you could share this post, tag somebody who might be interested or simply spread the word, I’d be massively grateful.
And if any of my old customers fancy swapping the lawnmower for a pair of boxing gloves… you know where I am. 😂🥊

Thank you to everyone who supported me back then — and everyone supporting what I’m trying to build now.
New chapter. Same bloke. Just different gloves. 🥊
