A look through five of our recent air source heat pump projects across a range of different properties.

No two homes are exactly the same, which is why we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to heat pumps. Heat loss, emitters, flow temperatures, controls and the way the property is used all need to be considered as part of the complete system.

These recent installs feature both Vaillant and Daikin heat pumps, each designed around the individual property.

What goes into installing air conditioning throughout a home? 🔧❄️

A behind-the-scenes look at a recent Daikin multi-split air conditioning installation, providing heating and cooling across three rooms from a single outdoor unit.

From mounting the indoor units to carefully lifting floorboards and routing the pipework through the property, there's plenty of work that ultimately gets hidden away once everything goes back together.

Floorboards reinstated, services neatly routed and three individually controlled indoor units ready to keep the home comfortable throughout the year.

Cooling when it's hot. Heating when it's not. 🔥❄️

A lot of pipework that's about to disappear! 👀

Underfloor heating going down across the ground floor of this large new-build property, with each circuit brought back and connected into the manifold.

Once the screed goes down, none of this will be visible, which is why getting the layout, spacing and individual circuits right at this stage is so important.

The result will be a large, low-temperature heating surface across the ground floor, making UFH particularly well suited to systems such as heat pumps.

Not long until all this pipework is hidden away for good! 🔥🏡

Out with the old, in with the new 🔥❄️

This property has had a complete heating system upgrade, removing the existing gas boiler and old hot water cylinder and replacing them with a new Daikin heat pump and cylinder.

Inside, we've also installed three fan coil units. These provide efficient heating through the colder months, but unlike conventional radiators, they can also provide active cooling during the summer when paired with the reversible heat pump.

With the weather looking a little less summery now, heating might be the priority… 🌧️

But when the warm weather returns, this home is already prepared for both. 👌

“The dogs come first!” 🐶❄️

When the summer heat became uncomfortable at home, Alan and Jenna weren't just thinking about themselves, their two Newfoundlands were struggling with it too.

We installed a Daikin multi-split air conditioning system to keep the main living spaces and bedroom comfortable, giving them heating and cooling when they need it.

A few weeks on, we went back to find out what difference it's actually made.

The verdict? Much happier humans, much happier dogs and two paws up from Rufus and Stormy. 🐾
