Some wooden steps re-placed for a returning customer in Hastings. All old boards were becoming rotten and slippery so replaced for new 9x2 timber and new fronts on steps with 8x1 timber.

Patio job completed in Robertsbridge, we were originally there to grind out and re-point the patio, however as we were removing the old grout the slabs were all coming loose due to them being laid on dot and dab and not a full bed of mortar.

All slabs were lifted and re-laid on a full bed of sharp sand and cement and then re-pointed.

Massive thanks to mjaquesgroundworksltd who came in to help us out on this project due to breaking my knee cap half way through the project. Thanks also to Parker Building Supplies for supply of materials as always. 😀👍

Summer house cladded for a customer in Etchingham. 3m x 3.6m summer house was in need of new boarding on 2 sides due to damage from weather and rodents. Old boards removed, old waterproofing membrane removed and replaced with new Tyvek. New boards added with new trims.

2 new composite decking areas completed along with new cladding on a summer house for a returning customer in Robertsbridge. Old decking frame was solid in most areas but needed extra supports and posts installed to make it stronger for new decking boards.

Lovely new 20mm buff chippings pathway with block paver edging and seating area for a lovely returning customer of ours in Little Common.

Pathways all excavated and soil built up low areas of the lawn on right hand side, membrane and sub base stone laid and compacted and then edgings stone finished off with some new top soil 😀

Thanks to B+D contracts for digger and track barrow hire, Robins of Herstmonceux for sub base stone and top soil and Parker Building Supplies Bexhill for all other materials supplied 😀👍

New closeboard fence installed for a lovely couple in Little common this week. We installed some closeboard and a new gate this time last year too at this property so we’re so pleased to be back to install more. Some bays cut down to size to re-use concrete spur supports and 4 new spurs added to bays that were missing spurs. 😀
